Badminton Clubs

The Isle of Man Badminton Association administers a national League in which local clubs participate.  Anyone may join a local club and if you like, can play in the league or simply come along and play socially. The clubs meet on different nights of the week and play at different venues, some have junior sections and some in-house coaches.

Come along to one of the local clubs or contact any of the people on the website to find out how to join us in one of the Island ’s most popular sports. You’ll be welcome, whatever your level.

Club Welfare Officers

All clubs should have a Welfare Officer in place. The requirements for this are:

– Valid DBS (formerly CRB)
– Safeguarding & Protecting Children qualification

A Club Welfare Officer should be a point of contact for the club as and when needed for any welfare incidents, however do not need to be in attendance at club sessions, tournaments or events. Club Welfare Officers will always be supported by IOMBA Welfare Officers Roberta Cannell and Phil Ardern.

For any questions or any further information please contact Roberta Cannell robcann@manx.net
